With dance music in thrall to '90s sounds, it only makes sense that '90s icons would pop up to revisit their roots. Groove Armada made their name with jazzy downtempo before veering into dance-rock, but with Little Black Book the U.K. duo refocuses on the moody, sensual sounds of house music from days of yore. Echoes of New York and Chicago ricochet through punchy organ bass and soulful vocal samples, while pumping pianos flash back to the golden age of U.K. rave. Sometimes their retro fidelity verges on déjà vu, but there's no denying the duo's skillful touch.
